Anna Galoni
Vice-Chair and Human Resources Director
Joined Thomson-Gordon Group in July 2007 and was appointed Human Resources Director in 2008 and Vice-Chair in 2009 and currently Acting New Product Development Director (2010-2011). Mrs. Galoni is the next family owner (4th Generation). She has been a member of the Board of Advisors since 2006. Born in Gdynia, Poland in 1974. Moved to Canada in mid 1990’s. Holds Bachelor of Arts and Masters Degree in Science (Epi) from Queens University,Canada.
Terry McGowan
President
Joined Thomson-Gordon Group in July 2007 as General Manager Thordon Bearings Inc. and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer Thomson-Gordon Group in February 2008 and President, Thomson-Gordon Group/Thordon Bearings Inc. in January 2010. Mr. McGowan graduated from McMaster University, Canada with a Bachelor of Engineering, Chemical in 1986 and received designation as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the Province of Ontario 1988. The first part of his career was spent working in internationally focused chemical and food manufacturing industries, holding positions as Technical Services Engineer, Engineering Manager, Plant Manager and President and CEO. Working in private industry for over 20 years, Mr. McGowan has experience as Director and shareholder on a Corporate Board of Directors and is currently a member of the Thomson-Gordon Group Board of Advisors.

Human Resources Manager
An experienced professional with an extensive HR generalist background, Donna joined the Thomson-Gordon Group in June, 2001 in a newly created position at TG as Human Resources Manager. Donna has enjoyed working in the HR field for the past 21+ years in both union and non-unionized environments. After raising her three daughters, she attended night school at McMaster University completing Human Resources courses and is a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (HRPAO).
Enroy King
Plant Manager
Joined Thomson-Gordon in April, 1970 as a production employee and has progressed through the company as it grew. Mr. King has gained a vast amount of technical knowledge, skills, and experience while working in various capacities during his 40 years with the company; these include Plant Foreman and 20 years as Polymer Processing Manager. He holds an Industrial Engineering Certificate from Mohawk College, Canada and has developed some of Thordon’s polymer formulations and processing technologies.
Jan Willem De Jong
Commercial Director
Joined Thomson-Gordon Group in 2008 as Commercial Director. Mr. de Jong graduated from the Polytechnical University of Rotterdam with a Bachelor of Marine Engineering & Navigation and he holds a Chief Engineer's License as well as a Captain's License. Mr. de Jong started his career with the Holland America Line as Cadet Officer and in 1989 Mr. de Jong emigrated to Canada and became General Manager and co-owner of Neptunuas Yachts, a private company, specializing in the manufacturing of semi custom yachts in the 15 to 22 meter range.
Anthony Medic
Joined Thordon Bearings Inc. in May 2010. Spent the past 12 years working in various industries, most recently with MAN Diesel Canada, a provider of international turnkey power stations. Prior to working in private industry, Mr. Medic spent over 10 years in public practice working with a local chartered accounting firm. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Waterloo, Canada and is a Chartered Accountant.
Ken Ogle
Director of Engineering
Started sea-going career as Engineer Cadet in 1978 and attained Chief Engineers License at age 26. After 17 years with the P&O group, returned ashore to study for a 1st Class B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering at Southbank University, London UK. Senior Surveyor within the Technical Investigation Department of Lloyds Register, then Engineering Manager with Railko before joining Thordon Bearings in 2001.
Craig Carter
Director of Marketing and Customer Service
Born and raised in Newfoundland, began international marketing/sales career with Acadian Seaplants Ltd., Nova Scotia and Publicité Miracom Advertising, Ottawa, Ontario in early 1990’s. Joined Thordon Bearings and Thomson-Gordon Group in 1996 marketing products to industrial and aviation markets in Ontario, Canada and globally. In 2008, became Director of Marketing and Customer Service focusing on spreading the good news of pollution free bearings and keeping customers happy. Mr. Carter holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary’s University and an MBA from Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Gabriel Gorscovoz
Director, New Product Development
Joined Thordon Bearings Inc. in August 2011, bringing over two decades of European and North American expertise in R&D and New Product Development, during which he focused on implementing Value Innovation and Creativity as the main Core Values for business success. Prior to joining TBI Mr. Gorscovoz has occupied progressive positions in Business, Engineering and Project Management, obtaining notable achievements in assisting various companies to develop new products for Aerospace, Automation, Automotive, Defense, Electronics, Intelligent Traffic Systems, National Security and Nuclear Power industries. Mr. Gorscovoz credentials include a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Timisoara, Romania, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK; he is also a Licensed Professional Engineer, Certified Project Management Professional, and Accredited Business Advisor.
